This is one of the Main-Experiments dealing with Japanese. It forms a pair with EPSA [33]-3. In both of these EPSA Experiments, the two SGs are distinguished by means of the "case-marking" on the object NP rather than in terms of the word order. In SG1the object NP is marked with o and in SG2 with ni. Their LG1 is BVA(subete-no tihoozititai, soko) 'BVA(every local government, it)' and their LG2 is BVA(3-tu-no tihoozititai, soko) 'BVA(three local governments, it)'. Schema A of each of the two SGs is of the SOV order. In EPSA [33]-2, the SOV order is used in Schema A both for SG1 and SG2. See Section 7.5.4.
